SY's relationship started with the Italian investor during chilling out at one of the cafe in itally at late of 2011, and while they have been talking about trade and youth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,the idea of "sweet years " came up and it was a clothing brand. the brand launched in Saudi Arabia and it had a strong and prominent presence,and alot of media great attention from all the Media,one of the reasons that this brand had this whole attention is the presence of italian's football legends "Paulo Maldini and Chrystian Vieri" who chose the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh to expand their large project.

Beacuse SY's New identity came under title "unforgettable story" the Ambition to Faysal and Abdulaziz Al-Thunayan the "partners of Paulo Maldini and Chrystian Vieri" was to
have a Saudi Brand Matching international brands, so they decided to create a new brand 100% Saudi, and the name was the first letter of the two words (Sweet Years)
